my daughter is 9 and her orthodontist wants to put on 4 brackets on the front of her bottom teeth because he said it would bring the teeth closer together. Is that just another name for braces or is there a difference? He said he wanted to wait another 4 months before doing anything to see how her teeth come in..they pulled 2 about 6 months ago and they are just starting to come through her

My granddaughter is 12 and she still has a few baby teeth. They are molars. Her teeth are starting to overlap in the front, and we are not sure what kind of braces she should get. Does she have to wait until she looses all her of her teeth? And will the invisible or metal braces work better?

I can't use invisalign right away because of one stray tooth, once that's in line with my other teeth then invisalign will be an option for me.
